The "Capability" crown

Kingfishers, Heron, Cormorant and Water Vole,

From nature the great masters stole,

Reed beds, Willow, buds, birch and bracken, the mighty old Oak with homes not for sale,
The meekness of nature will never go stale,

Don't poke fun at the meek, the incapable, fore their fire leaves a fearsome trail,

The "capability" crown, they wear, the crown of the rock dove, is full to the brim of love, they do not fail,

Blow a gail, they will not fall or stumble, nor crawl!

The gulls climb the spiralling gusts with faith of a mustard seed bringing hope and glory, to the fallen and blamed,

The shamed rise from their stolen story, rearrange their mind to a capable kind, set forth and proceed to the need of others and the lamp that burns on the bridge shows their way!

The crown is worn only by the poor, the windswept, the cradled, the unbridled, the woeful and weak! They stride forth with majesty, not with riches, but with a back bone! The ridge of the Lion dog, the treding of their clog to the earth, the moment the tattered hat is pulled down, over their eyes, they still see, there's no blindness in them, it's the waves on the river they drift with, with the waves gulls float upon, and like the industrious pigeon who's perch is rotten, full of stench, they manoeuvre with expertise!

The Lion roar signals a fight, a proud strength, the humble Rat looks at you like your thick, with curious eyes, the Crow with its intellect sums you up, susses you out,

The Weeds on the Riverside, like a Limpet or Urchin, cling to life, survive all elements, not pretty, but enduring!

When the Sparrow enters the flock, the trumpets sound, the bells ring and heads bow, but the Sparrow bow too, not in glory, but in the humility of knowledge!

Berries are eaten, seeds spread, graffiti signs banners, their tattooed skin,
You can't win, they say!

But, claim it, don't enflame it, the tide is always in momentum,
Perpetual motion like a Greek boxer, weathered, bruised, cut and battered, his victory overcomes his poverty, his victory overcomes his life, pounding rugged sinews perpetuates motion with experience and this is the essence of power, the eternal white flame, like a white Eagle gliding close to the sharp light of the sun!

They don't do a border, it's all or nothing, freedom and independence, freedom in the mind, gravity never brings them down, God's wider wingspan helps them fly and cry with exhalation and capability!

The king of "capability" always wears his crown!

The storm that came and went

The pandemic has come, and gone!
Invasions happen, with the power of the bomb!
Tsunami's wreek havoc and devastate life!
But, these all pass like a blunted edge always comes to the sharpened knife!

A Lightning bolt battering us with depression,
Consumes us with listless energy and suppression,
Hurricane forces and confusion create the illusion, that life is destructive!

Life is too hard!

But the bard listens to his maker,
The life giver and the life taker,

Fore he who shouted far and wide,
Calmed the raging tide!!!

Therefore, faith and hope will get you through,
So that you can pursue,
Climbing to the top of that strong tree, the one left standing, while all others fall,
You know your worth and you know your call,
The storm will always fade and disappear,
Like boiling heat that does scold and seer,
And the darkness that brings danger and fear,

But, after Winter always comes Spring with vivid light,
The excitement of new growth,
The hope of rejuvenation,
Of us and the next generation,

Let us raise a glass of wine,
To the back of it all,
To the next step,
To the one who keeps striving,
To the one who never surrenders,
To the one who survives,
To the one who tries even harder,

To the bard, who continues to write from his soul,
To the one who gives us optimism,
To the one who gives his word and his light,
The ability of mental strength and fight,
To the very end and beyond,
Sing a song of merrymeant and might,
Sing a song of joy and delight!!
