The three Sparrows

With warm love on their wings they float to the heart of the the city,

The distant sound of bells toll as they fly,

The air is fresh,

The sound crisp, my stomach strong and mind free as I watch them ground,

Sun light breaks through thick cumulus,

They chirp not calling to eachother,

But in praise to their creator,

They breath and they hope too,

With joy they fly off,

With pride they praise,

They swoop down and meet at a cross roads,

Where there are berries to eat and water to sip,

They hop and jump with verve and fascination.

Flying away as the clouds seal once again,

They head forth to a new land, a new vehement,

To begin a new life,

No danger will touch them there,

Their persistence will continue only with a bowed soul and bold head,

Never to see death,

Never to witness suffering,

Here at the heart of the city there is only salvation.

The sparrows weave a golden thread,

And seal it with a knot,

Tying our hearts with the light of loving kindness,

Immediately the flowers of Heaven and Earth take bloom and an explosion of colours and scents rise in the soft breeze of humid heat of the this humble day,

Here now is the celebration of life in us all,

The growing in expectation,

The wonderment of the future,

To see only and feel only energy that is pure and good,

In the hearts of these bringers of hope,

The sparrows delight,

And as they fly away not far behind cometh The Light.
